This has already been such a horrible day it’s unreal. On top of that, I’m pretty sure my blood sugar is still low. This is not my day ):

Can you send letters in bottles in this life?
Yes! … If you put the bottle into an addressed package (:
“What matters in life is not what happens to you but what you remember and how you remember it.”
—Gabriel García Márquez (via larmoyante)
“Why are you sad?”
“Because you speak to me in words, and I look at you with feelings.” —Pierrot Le Fou Anna Karina (via decembrist)

“Maybe nobody will care about printed books 50 years from now, but I do. When I read a book, I’m handling a specific object in a specific time and place. The fact that when I take the book off the shelf it still says the same thing – that’s reassuring.”
—Johnathan Franzen on eBooks (via decembrist)
“The odd thing about this life is always that you spend half your time trying to get people to listen to you and the rest of the time trying to get them to leave you the fuck alone.”
—Tom Waits (via saddest-summer)
“No one should ever ask themselves that: why am I unhappy? The question carries within it the virus that will destroy everything. If we ask that question, it means we want to find out what makes us happy. If what makes us happy is different from what we have now, then we must either change once and for all or stay as we are, feeling even more unhappy.”
—Paulo Coelho (via decembrist)
“A belief is not merely an idea the mind possesses. It is an idea that possesses the mind.”
—Robert Oxton Bolton (via lajoiedespetiteschoses)
You know what would be absolutely lovely?
If someone would send me a message in a bottle. Obviously bodies of water cannot be involved here, so we’ll use one of our only alternatives. Someone trustworthy write me a letter, I will give you my address and you will put the letter in a bottle, send it to me, and I will not open it for a year. Or a month. Or however long I can stand to stare at it without searching it’s contents. Sound good? (: Someone just make my life and make this happen, please.
